We ( the family ) are going to be at the York CTT rally at the weekend, just wondered what the speed of some of the day rides are like , will I get shelled if I go on the fast ride , or would I be better of on one of the medium paced rides , our club run pace is around 18-20 mph & i can manage that ok , dont want to get dropped (to much for the ego!).

I have done the Ron Kitching Challenge Ride (150kms route) for the last 3 years. If you are used to club runs then you should be fine.

We are also planning to be at the rally. We are combining the trip as part of a 3 day tour setting off Friday morning. Essentially doing the White Rose ride but riding to Hull to start the ride on Friday and getting home Sunday.

The CTC rides cater for just about every type of rider. They have short family jaunts and rides for the more experienced.
