I live in Ealing and need to pay a visit to Roberts in Croydon next week, with bike. The couple of times I've been there in the car have been a nightmare, 2 hours plus each way. Can anyone recommend a sensible route by bike? I'm OK as far as Clapham Common, but thereafter not sure. Any advice appreciated!

  • Roughly i'd keep on the south circular till it hits brixton hill/ streatham hill, take a right down the road, at fork keep left down streatham high street, then keep on going past streatham common and this will get you towards Croydon, the road becomes london road (A23 keep on London road when the A23 takes a right down Thorton road, London road becomes the A235 - this i think happend just aft passing a McD with big ball park), then go left up windmill road and gloucester road is off it. mind you that route is very busy. There's probably quieter routes.

On the 8th day God made a bicycle, and he saw that it was good. (actually personally he thought it was his best invention yet)

I was wondering if this guy arrived okay. I'm starting to get worried.
