Cannondale 613 frame anyone?

I used to have one and it was very good. Smooth, comfortable and fast. The only problem I had with it was that it never really felt fast, if that makes sense, could feel a little dead sometimes.
Quality was excellent though, I'd recommend one, I just personally wanted a different tyoe of ride after haveing the 'dale for a couple of years. I know the guy I sold it to is delighted with it. I'd also say that Cannondales tend to be a bit over supplied, so you can usually get a good deal on them

Saw a nice 613 last weekend and I am starting to lust after it. I haven't ridden one yet. Anyone have/had one and could recommend or otherwise?

Yeah, I've got one, thoroughly recommend it. Don't know what ColinT is comparing the one he had with to what, but IMHO its outstanding. I bought the frameset with the si carbon compact chainset and the whole bike builds up fairly light.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great bike, I loved riding mine, just wanted a change I suppose. I've had 2 cannondales and both were superb

the 613 is one of the smoothest handling bikes i've ever rode. i think they'd be a joy to do big miles on, for me, it was a choice between cdale and a de rosa. i went for a de rosa and it's the best handling bike i've ever owned.
i would have been happy with the dale though.
