ITM 4 Ever Seatpost

After having a seatpost clamp snap I decided to pick a really chunky strong one in the shape of the 4 Ever .
Trouble is twice now , after suitably tightening bolts equally , the saddle starts to dip downward ...very slowly and after 2/300 miles I am sliding off the edge . Realising the worsening effect at 60 miles into the Polkadot, just coming into Winnats , I decided to hang in there but by the end it was seriously sloping down
Any body else had this experience ? Is it the way I am tightening the bolts or is it an ITM 4 ever niggle/fault ?
