Pegoretti from mosquito

does anyone have experience from buying a pegoretti from mosquito. obviously it is an absolute beauty.. (i have the duende and marcelo in mind) But some in depth description of anyones experience here would be much appreciated...

    my experience suggests they would hopefully be less arrogant and disinterested if you're spending some decent money with them. They do a fitting service so the set up should be good
  • they have a bad habbit of ordering the components the week the frame is due to be built up, often your first choice of bits is unavailable...but exclusivity comes at a price.

    i got mine from Yellow Jersey, when it was still there... got fitted up by Sean, who had a Marcelo himself.

    be prepared for a long wait for the frame, but it's worth it. I've got a Marcelo and it's mighty nice.

    Better be quick...I've heard that Dario is unwell. I've always wanted but can't afford one.

    Yes, Dario is apparently pretty ill and is no longer accepting new orders according to Competitive Cyclist - so I'd try and track something down in your size if you have your heart set on one. I expect Pegorettis to become very much sought-after.
