i recently scratched my new carbon bike on the front forks, the scratch is approx 1 inch long and is white which i presume is just a laquer(lacker) scratch am i correct? and how can i fix it? bearing in mind i've got a touch like a virgin and not like a the french polisher off the old yellow pages advert where the young boy had a house party and scratched the table with a vinyl lol. anyway....

just in case you forgot, it was like this:
"wake up, my parents fly back today"
"who are you?"
"who are you?"
"who's she?"
"quick get these glasses"
"come on you stupid thing"
<frantic music>
"oh no!"
"hello? French polishers? it's just possible you could save my life"
"Mum! Dad! Just landed? I'm on my way!"
<cue wierd music as buffoon notices spectacles drawn on family portrait>
