I recently bought a new full carbon frame road bike, does anyone out there have any tips as to cleaning, washing the frame, is there a magic potion available somewhere.

Strangely enough I find that baby wipes work well for a quick clean.

Second the baby wipes, and get some bike polish as well- will keep dust off it and makes it look shinier than normal [:)]

hose off major dirt, wipe down with baby wipes, another hose off, kitchen roll to dry off, then put on bike polish, then buff off bike polish.

I use Halfords car shampoo for washing the frame.

Not to get confussed with a jet wash, this can do more damage than good.

Kitchen Roll and Muc-Off is all I have ever needed to use, but I rarely take it out on very wet or muddy roads. If it came home very dirty some time I would just hose it down, let it dry and then back to the kitchen roll and muc-off.

Baby wipes are wonderful! And then dry off with kitchen roll.

Another vote for baby wipes, also muc-off if I've let my pride and joy get very dirty.

Another vote for baby wipes. Incidentally they are great for getting dead flies off the front of your car as well!
