Bar bag or saddle bag??? Any aero differences?

I'm doing Lejog quickly in the Summer and am considering having some storage capacity, mainly for food.

Bar bag is easier for eating on the move, but a bit less aero. Price is also a bit of an issue.

Opinions please...

  • Aero effect/drag will be negligable, although if you load them up bar bags will make the steering feel heavy, normally only used for lightweight essentials, map case can be handy on unfamailiar roads like you wil encouter on Lejog
