"The BBC has failed to promote proper debate on major political issues because of the inherent liberal culture of its staff, a report commissioned by the corporation has concluded."
It reads: "There is a tendency to 'group think' with too many staff inhabiting a shared space and comfort zone."

    Well there's a surprise.

One can only hope that this confirmation of the obvious will lead simoncp to explode with joy.
  • I suppose this report has come from some far right think tank.

My opposition to the BBC is not that it is biased. Like all news organisations it is biased. My opposition to the BBC is that I am forced to pay for it and that it laughably proclaims that I need to be forced to pay for it for my own good because it is uniquely unbiased, and that it knows it is unbiased because the government that owns it, and appoints its most senior staff, allows it to be its own judge and jury on complaints of bias, something which other broadcasters are not allowed to be.

Wonderful (though utterly boring) wildlife programs though!

Well said. At least I'm not compelled to pay for Murdoch's drivel on pain of merciless harassment and prosecution.

Imagine how well stuff burns in gaseous oxygen, well liquid oxygen menas a whole lot more oxygen in the same space.

Making a fuse out of potasium permanganate and glycerine and using it to
set off a sodium chlorate/sugar bomb in the concrete bins in Chapelfield Gardens,
Norwich so that seven foot yellow flames shoout out like a jet engine and clouds
of smoke billow across the park so thickly that you laugh and laugh until there is a little seepage is great fun.

Not that I ever took part in such reckless stupidity , natch.

    and in English?

Do they mean that too many staff share similar views and therefore these views get accepted rather than challenged?
