How much would it cost to courier my brothers mountain bike from the Lake District to Bristol?

Has anyone got good / bad experiences? Any companies that you would recommend.

Thanks

I think Royal Mail , Parcel Force will charge œ25, have a look at wwwroyalmail.com

  • Cheapest will be Royal Mail Standard - about 12-15 quid depending on weight. Parcel Force 48 probably 2nd cheapest. I've never had any problems with either (except arguing over size limits with PF staff! - just print the restrictions and take a tape measure!).

  • I recently sent a fully built Bianchi to West Midlands from London via Parcel Force, cost me œ13. Best bit is you can have it collected from home, work or wherever during a pre arranged time slot, which they normally stick to pretty closely. Definately the most convenient at the price.

I used parcel2go.com a year or so ago, cost me about œ12 with free boxes from my local bike shop - road bike.

Parcel Force picked up and delivered no worries.

You can use parcel2go website for free estimate if you know dimensions and weight.

    Cheers
