Anyone cycled this? I was thinking of doing it and guess it's a 70ish mile round trip.

Is the road surfaced all the way to the station?

What's the profile of the ride like?

    I've cycled it a few times. The road is surfaced all the way to Rannoch Station. I'd recommend using the roads on the south side of Lochs Rannoch and Tummel on the way back to make it a loop. Another interesting diversion is to head back via Trinafour, Glen Errochty and Blair Atholl.

    Just make sure you're not planning to do this ride next Sunday - 24th June - or you'll get caught up in the Etape Caledonia sportive!
