correct - every idiot in the country must vote for these talent show things.

I may be wrong - and I only have it on because...well I have a daughter who likes these mindless things [:I] She will learn.

As I have not been watching it, rather it is on in the background I have little idea whether any were good. But I have just found it has been won by Pol Pot! How did that happen - the leader of the Khymer Rouge wins a talent show on British TV! Didn't realise he did singing as well as population extermination...

Don't say they've evicted the beauty therapist who got sparks from her crutch and a steel G-string! She was totally talentless but hilarious.

I just hope to G*d the 6 yr old doesn't win. She's awful

The barmen were great but got weaker round by round.

It's got to be Potts for me.

I enjoy the prog despite the pound note signs in Simon's eyes.

BUT why are Ant and Dec in there? Except someone in marketing thinks their names = ratings. At least they now appear on stage. In the early rounds they were spare pr*cks at a wedding imo.

I agree in the last 15 years but Minder, World in Action, Brideshead Revisited, The Beiderbeck Affair, Jewel in the Crown? You can tell I used to work for Granada.

I liked the 'Bar Wizards'. They seemed genuinely nice people and their act was excellent.

[Pervert]A beauty therapist who got sparks from her crutch and a steel G-string, (from another thread) using an angle grinder![/Pervert]

I missed this program, but this seems to be the sort of thing that Black Adder would have dreamed up!

I watched some of it - thought Andy Laf (singer with guitar) who lost out to the BarWizards was pretty good.

    I third it.
  • The title of the programme should be ' Britain Has Talent'. Thirty five years ago Miss Lugsden taught me that 'got' is generally and unnecessarily used word ie 'Britain Has Got Talent'. We may have talent but we also seem to have a very poor grasp of concise english...........
