100 mile ride from dunkirk

I am going over to dunkirk with a friend to watch the tour and do a little riding. I am planning a ride about 100 miles starting and finishing in the town. Having never riden in the north before can anybody reccomend a decent route?

    Coastal/inland, hilly/flat, urban/rural, industrial/nature/history.

    I was thinking of a challenging hilly route, to put the hurt on my mate who has not been out as much as he should have recently [;)]

    within 50 miles of Dunkirk, so you can do 100 there and back

    no hills, it's flat, so flat
