Crashing out
OK 1st things 1st[:D] this is my first post on the C+ forum and i'm looking for HELP.
Sort version of the story - http://www.newcastle-track.co.uk/240507.html
just over 3 weeks ago during a Team Sprin event at Newcastle Track i had a "racing accident", you know, it was just one of those things, i was over-laping the rider in front of me and he pulled up early.
In truth it was a school boy error on my part
So rider 1 had done a stunning 1st lap when rider 2 took over and followed with another cracking lap, at this point I looked across the track to see a massive gap on the line, it must have been about 60 - 80 mtrs.
Rider 3 took up the chase and we were flying, I checked again as week crossed the centre line in the home straight, the gap had grown !!
We crossed the line and in to the bend and at this point I thought Rider 3 was running out of "steam".
Like a fool I moved UP the track and my front wheel was overlapping his rear wheel, I thought that I had time to slow sufficiently to get behind him before he pulled over, HOW WRONG WAS I !!!!!
he pulled up the track "as he was supposed to" and I had not cleared his rear wheel so hie rear wheel took my front wheel from under me and the next thing I know I'm munching on the grass like Daisy the Cow (lets hope Newcastle Town FC don't get to hear about it)
Whilst lying there tucking in to the salad thinking I hope they don't try and milk me I made my first attempt at getting up .
Ever thing moved with the exception of my right arm so I thought just stop here a minuet but you know what it's like when you think you are Superman , I made my second attempt at moving but I had to face facts, my right arm was not going to do the things I wanted it to .
So a trip to A&E proved i had dislocated my elbow and chipped the front out of the radial cup.
Here is were i need the help, how do i / do you know a way of speed up the healing prosess?
Phil

Comiserations on the crash, they are horrible things.
Go to a chemist and buy Symfitum - it helps promote bone repair.
Rest and dont force yourself back out brfore you are ready.
