Hi,
Driving down to Bourg D'Oisans for the Marmotte. Anyone advise on the best ferry route into France?
Cheers

In terms of distance/route (basically via Paris) there isn't much difference.
The Calais (ish) routes tend to be cheapest.
I would consider choosing based upon your schedule. I am going to S.France on the LD Lines Portsmouth-Le Havre overnight.

Yep, early booking on Speedferries.com has always been the cheapest. in recent years, followed by Norfolk Line to Dunkirk.
Unfortunately Speedferries don't take foot passengers or cyclists. (or caravans).
Their ticket structure is also like the cheap airlines: For the cheap price, you sacrifice flexibilty, so changing a sailing for example, is expensive. But like Easyjet, I have never had any problems with them what so ever. You turn up, they sail, and 55 minutes later you get off in France.0
