Does anyone know how to adjust the derailleur on a Spesh Sirrus '07? (I hope I've got the terminology right...i'm talking about the rectangular loop which moves the chain between the 3 front chainrings). At the moment it rubs against the chain slightly...I need to adjust it so that it is closer to the centre-line of the bike. There are 2 cross-head screws next to the derailleur but they're not labelled in any way.
cheers.

The 2 screws that you mention adjust the upper and lower limit of the derailleur. To adjust how far the der is pulled across by the shifter there is an adjuster near the front of the downtube. There is actually one at each side, one for the front and one for the rear der. Follow the cables to make sure but the one you want is usually on the left hand side. You should then set the limit screws that i mentioned before to stop the der moving too far.
