Training wheels? How rich do you think I am? [:D]I only have these.
I was told in shop one hour on rim then another hour before racing 2 hours in total. Dhould be ok on outdoor track where banks are not steep?
How do you glue a tubular for track racing.
I just put glue on rim and letting dry for hour.
Do I then glue rim again and tubular or just the rim?
I am racing on 2 hours help fast [8D]

  • Glue rim leave alone for 24 hours

Stretch tyre Then glue Leave for 24 hours.

Then glue both rim and tyre When Tacky Roll tub onto rim Leave Pumped up for 24 hours Then and ONLY then are you ready to race.

Looks like you'll need your training wheels tonight.

Blimey. And I thought replacing an inner tube was a hassle.

This Park Tools "how to" is a great guide and is the process that I follow for gluing my track tubs.
    I’m a sprinter – I warmed up yesterday.

This is why I use tub tape. It seems to do the job just as well as glue as far as I can tell and is no more hassle than changing a tyre or tube on clinchers - if anything it's easier.

Easier but slower, glued up tub as less rr than a taped tub so some people have found.

I was also advised not to use tape for track racing due to the banks, especially on velodrome.
I had to borrow a wheel in the end !!
Missed two races, won one and got œ10 for 2 primes in another so it might start to pay fro the new tub [:D]
