Carrera Road bikes (inc Grphyon)

hi,

quick question.. will the carrera road bikes take a rack and guards? I had a quick look the other day, but can't remember what eyelets they had...

    The gryphon has the right eyelets but it also has disc brakes. You'll struggle to get conventional muddies to fit. (I've looked at one as a potential winter commuter - but come across the self same problem).

    Carrera 2 subway is apparently (one of) only bike with disk brakes to be able to take pannier racks as standard.

  • Just realised that ALL Halfords bikes 10% off til close of play Monday (Bike Week thing). I reckoned Gryphon pretty good vfm at 380 - at 340 surely a deal?
    Might go and get one tomorrow!
