When I'm crawling along in traffic a couple of hundred yards from a red light. I'm going to swerve into you and knock you off.
What IS going through their heads?
BTW this didn't happen to me - I just witnessed it and so with complete impartiality can say that the driver of the black Peugeot was a piece of whalesh!t.
And applause again to the cyclist who was wearing more rapha for his commute than I have ever seen before - base layer, fixed T, gilet and cap.

I've encountered some really evil driver behavior this last couple of days.

Couldn't believe this silly woman at the lights this morning, she was parked but after 2 buses and 3/4 of me was passed. She seemed to take offence at us pulling in front of her. She decided to pull out and try and force her car up the inside of one of the buses which had stopped at traffic lights. There wasn't enough room for me and its a dedicated left turn for buses only hence why I waited behind the buses at the lights.
If I had a baby elephant, who would take it for walks?0 -

Oooh, what a tosser. Did you take details and offer to be a witness?

I offered to be a witness but the guy didn't want to take it further. Didn't take details pending confirmation of whether my witness offer would be taken up. There was ample opportunity to take details afterwards as the car was going NOWHERE fast.0 -
With regards the Rapha commuter; if you had spent a fortune on their kit wouldn't you want to wear it all the time? Not least to get your money's worth?0

No, didn't look like Robert Elms.
The only other person I've seen wearing nearly as much rapha on a commute turned out to be one of the founders!0 -

Wasn't a criticism. I was genuinely impressed. I have a bit of rapha stuff myself but I've always looked on it as too nice to wear on my commute. That said, I happened to be wearing a tricolor jersey this morning!0 -

I am learning the hard way that different people have different standards.
I am currently nursing a facial wound over a difference of opinion as to how to deal with an unwanted banana skin.
given the venom that is oft times dished out at the merest mention of rapha, helmets, rlj, I think I shall bow out and leave you to it with bestest of wishes.0 -

That's nothing, it's entirely possible for a pal of mine to wear Rapha(deep breath) shorts, tights, base layer, club jersey, cap and softshell on his commute to work. Oh and socks.
Jammy dodger didn't pay any more than half price for any of it either. Damn his lean body. Why can't they reduce the price of the extra-large stuff? Just doesn't seem fair. And probably sizist. Or should that be lardist?Si homini ignem das, unem diem ardebit; si hominem incendis, reliquem vitam ardebit.0 -

No. Not if you're well off.

I certainly wear my Rapha club jersey and shorts at every opportunity for that very reason. They're tres comfortable after all....
...and no, I ain't wealthy, I only buy clothes when I need them and was recommended Rapha by a friend (who is by far a more experienced cyclist)
In my defence, I did NOT know that by wearing Rapha I would cause so much pain to so many people. I would destroy it all, but that would be ecologically unsound[;)] so I'm not going to.
