KMC Missing Link
I have a camapg chain, but the missing link I have (KMC 10S), says it's for X10SL, X10, DX10SC & Shimano 10 speed chains. I checked this with a someone in Cycle Surgery (I know, I know...), and they assured me that it would work with Campag as well. But I've just looked on Parker Int., and they seem to sell a KMC 10 (no 'S' on the end, which appears to be for Campag.
Can someone clear this up for me? Cheers.

There are different widths of Campag chain (5.9 and 6.2mm if i recall correctly) You will need to make sure that your link and chain are of the same width.
Hypocrisy is only a bad thing in other people.

I found a suspiciously-good price on DX10 chains recently so did a bit of Googling to see what the difference between DX10 & DX10S was - it seems the DX10 is Campag and the DX10S is Shimano

Shimano compatible DX10S at 6.05mm width and the Campy compatible DX10C at 6.2mm (same as the original Campy and too wide.)
They now have the 5.88mm DX10SC for both Shimano and Campy.

one "Campy specific" (DX10) and the other "ShimaNO specific" (DX10s). The "Campy" one is 6.1 mm, while the "ShimaNO" is 5.9.
