Grease is the word

Hi guys,

What's a good (but value for money)grease to use when lubing up things like the threads of a cassette or Bottom Bracket etc.

    Olive oil apparently.

    I seem to use sand.

    Lithium grease from Halfrauds is a popular reply.
    I have a pot of LM axle grease that get used on the car, so shares use with the bike.

    Multi-purpose grease from Wilkinsons

    or copper antiseize or threadlock

    probably not the best value but I use Shimano Dura-Ace grease that comes in the little tubs. It's about a fiver a tub but unless you are slapping it on everything in vast quantities it lasts ages.

    makes interesting luminous green marks everywhere too..
