Chafe-Ease - Mad or miracle

I've committed to cycling over the Pyrennees later this year, but I'm far from a dedicated cycle tourer, so I'm expecting that I might experience "some discomfort". Is something like Chafe-Ease a wise precaution or a waste of money??
Cheers.

Wise. Very wise. Or the ludicrously expensive and tingly Assos stuff is even better.0

You could try Sudocreme, nappy rash creme. I find it fantastic having used it on several long trips.
Much cheaper too.
And sometimes I use pure lanolin, just for the jell of it.

I wash down there well every day; dry it well, and apply a little Savlon once a day - don't get any problems
