Now that Campagnolo have moved from the Square Taper Bottom Brackets to the Ultra Torque, the Chorus B/B's seem to be in short supply.
Does any body know of stockists of the Chorus Bottom Brackets or what is a suitable alternative?

Many thanks in anticipation

Campag Record square taper is the same 102mm axle length.

    And twice the price.
I'm sure that given the number of years that the design was used...about 12 years...there is still plenty of stock out there in the shops and as part of Campag's factory stock.
I don't know how hard you are on bottom brackets but my Chorus triple axle is four years old and still going strong....so it would only take about two brackets to see out the life of the crank.

I'd rather walk than use Shimano.

The older I get, the better my power to weight ratio was.

You can get a new Chorus BB for œ40 here: High on Bikes

    Or here for œ34:
    BikeBitsUK

I haven't used BikebitsUK but they do advertise in the "comic".

  • The FSA one is seriously good VFM, it's basically the same as Record (carbon/Ti) but uses the Shimano BB.

Excellent so it won't fit then.

Oops! I meant to say that it uses the Shimano BB tool.

It fits just fine... I know, because I was that soldier.
