Need a New Ksyrium Elite rear hub

Hi,

Can't seem to find one of these on the internet- Does anyone have any ideas as to where I might source one?

    Ring your local road specialist and they can source it for you. It is not a common spare

    hi, r j chickens are the distributer (they won't deal direct) but any shop that deals with them will be able to get you one. If you don't have any joy email me.

    Are you sure you don't just need new cartridge bearings? Cost of a new wheel is probably less than the cost and faff of getting the wheel rebuilt with a replacement hub.

    Hi Monty Dog - No the hub sheered at the linkage of one of the spokes. Prolly got ripped off by a misaligned chain.

    Thanks Down the Road & Graemetherunner - Armed with that info, I spoke to the LBS in Harrow - Mavic will replace the hub & spokes for œ102.60. [B)] - If the Rim is any cop, then I'll probably speak to my financial controller.

    My rear Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheel broke by the a spoke breaking off at the hub. I was just about to face up to the cost of a new wheel ( nearly œ200 ) when I checked the guarantee which came with the wheel which was 2yrs. The shop I bought my bike from dealt with mavic and the wheel was returned some weeks later, cannondale kindly loaned me a wheel to ride on whilst that one was repaired.Might help if your wheel is still under guarantee
