haha...
i was thinking that exact same thing, a blatent stage victory that was bought.0 -
To be fair though, he did do the work.
That Astana guy looks awful on the bike too!0 -
Absolutely deserved by Moreau. More like the Astana guy would have been heavily criticised by rest of peleton and never given any lee-way by AG2R in the future, plus would have got egged off stage by the adoring French public. Felt sorry for the QS rider though with the rear mech falling off - think Moreau would have gifted stage to him otherwise as at least the QS rider contributed.....

If you see me out riding, then you're mistaken...0 -
I certainly didn't expect Moreau to win but can't comment on what happened as I could not get Eurosport or Cycling TV last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Valverde gets my respect for that sprint yesterday-he let Haussler and Husvhod know they are fortunate he usually saves his energy to ride as a GC contender, pipping them both for 3rd in the gallop yesterday. I like Valverde's attitude and hope he wins the Dauphine as that is Hinaultesque that, taking the sprinters on at their game when you are a GC winner potentially. I hope Valverde decides to have a go in a TDF bunch finish next month with Pettachi!

if valv tries to take the sprinters on in the TdF he will come a cropper... if he wants to win the race then he's gotta be catreful and mixing it up with robbie and ale p is not the best way to go about this....0
