Groundeffect Tardis - Cordura bag

Hi,
has anyone used or seen one of these bike bags from those wonderful people at Groundeffect* http://www.groundeffect.co.nz/product-d ... AR-BAG.htm ?
It's a cordura bag and, while it won't offer the same protection of a padded bag (such as the On-One bags), it does mean that I can pack it up and carry it with me - I'm flying in and out of different airports and want to avoid the logistical problems of couriering a bag to the other end of the tour. Having the bag with me also avoids any hotel (I'm travelling very light) from turning me anyway when I try to smuggle the bike into my bedroom [8D]
I was thinking of adding a stack of cardboard around the bike for the two flights.
Any thoughts??

*I say 'wonderful' as we've bought a number of their Merino thermals in the past and they've been excellent.

My tent weighs less[:D][:D][:D][:D]
but it seems OK otherwise
I would try to find foam pipe lagging to put around the bike in transit, on the way out at least.
