Losse braze on mount

Hi all,
Anyone got any thoughts on fixing a loose 'braze on' mount?
The mounting moves slightly on the pop rivets.

Can it be fixed/replaced with a 'band on'

I'm guessing its an alloy frame & I expect it's got a 'braze on' as the tube's OD is of an odd size or shape.

You could try drilling it out and riveting it on again with slightly larger studs.

Yup - best to try and carefully drill-out old rivets and fit new ones - be careful that you don't make the holes oversize in the process. Fitting a band-on mech wouldn't be such a good idea as the remaining holes could act as stress-raisers
