Merlin bike- info wanted
Hi just inherited this bike

A yellow Merlin- can't id it, or find any serial no- anyone ot any ideas?
got campag shifters, miche wheels, 56cm seat tube, 56cm top tube .
And if anyone is interested in it, let me know, I'm really an mtber, so not much use for it, just interested

What tubing is it, ie Reynolds etc? One of my elderly customers used to have a Merlin but I think it was a much older machine.

Merlin date from the 30s and were taken over by Bob Jackson in Leeds who built some bikes using that name and who may have some more information. You might find a frame number on the steerer tube. You can find some more info here:

those are some petty bikes.... searched all over the frame, can find no markings. Doesn't say what kind of steel it is either, but it is lighter than my 531 Carlton GP0
