Bib Shorts

Last weekends cycling activities saw my current bib shorts go in to a hole. Not wishing to let it all hang out I'm now in the market for a new pair.
Recomendations please.

I've got some Decathlon ones which cost about œ22 and are very good.
My favourite pair are Polaris. Can't remember how much they cost but they're very comfortable.

Like very-much both my On-ones from Planet-X and my new DHB's from Wiggle, both only œ30 and tres comfy even after 100 miles. DHB's possibly have the edge, but not by much. Well reviewed in C+.
The pessimists of this world are rarely disappointed....

Giordano Tenax - approx 52 quid. Very good and comfortable to wear, short of trying Assos (out of curiousity - which I never have), the Tenax are the best I've used.
This is my bike:

Assos are brilliant, but expensive.
I have jut bought a pair of the new Lusso "Pro-gel" shorts. Very comfy, but I suspect the slightly "squodgy" feel may not be to everyone's taste.

I bought some of these http://www.sigmasport.co.uk/home.html
They are very good and you get two pairs for the price of one. Only small and medium left though.

Giordana Tenax get my vote . Splashed out and got a pair of Assos Mille a couple of weeks ago for œ80 from Winstanley Bikes ; normally retail around œ100 . The Giordana Tenax are comparible to the Assos for 1/2 the price.0

Castelli shorts are great as well, I recently bought a pair of the "Free" bibs, sadly they weren't "free" at all, still they have been worth every penny so far; the most comfy bibs I have ever worn by a mile.

Assos have a reputation, rightly in my opinion, for doing the best shorts. Not only are they comfortable but they last. I've two pairs of F1 Milles that I bought back in 2003 that are still going strong.0

Got to agree with Andyp, just brought a pair of F1 mille the best bib shorts ever, buy then.0

The Assos short starts at under œ70. Giordana Tenax are around œ55. I'm a big fan of Giordana clothing but even so, if you can spring the extra œ15 the Assos shorts the one to get.

Lusso Coolmax for me.0

Got some Etxe Ondo bibs in the end. After trying on several pairs they seemed to be good quality, a good fit, and about middle price range.
