Could someone give me the benefit of their wisdom? planet X are doing good deals on wheels at the moment and they come in packages of - 101front/101rear or 82front/101 rear, im tempted by the 101 front and rear package but a bit worried about problems with cross winds, the main use is for triathlons/duathlons.

Any advise would be great
Cheers

You'd need another shallower rim to use when it's windy. Otherwise they're great. But my 82mm is tricky in the strong winds but is a really fast wheel.

So would you say that a 101 is ok if its not to windy?

How heavy are you? It (the 101) should be fine on the back whatever the weather. If you are 12 stone or under I'd think twice about two 101s personally. I'm 12 stone and use the 82mm for 9 races out of 10. For a 101 it might be 7 races out of 10 at a guess which is ok if you got a nice 40/50mm back-up for when it's windy.
You don't want to end up spending your energy trying to keep the bike straight.

PS On a good day two 101s would be the Dogs *******!!!

Good advice, cheers. Im about 11.5 stone, so the 82mm might be better.
