what was priority on that crossing? even so a quick look might have been in order
got reversed over once, I hopped off in the moment of crisis but the car reversed right over the bike, crushed the back wheel and when he got out and saw me screaming and shouting in full bike gear, his puzzled 'where's the bike' didn't really help my temper0 -
Funny this topic arose. I was speaking to my brother last night about cycling and the lack of deterents on car drivers to be more observant etc..and he told me of the time several years ago when he visited China of an event he saw from a bus...there were that many bikes on the road that a taxi simply hit a cyclist and carried on its journey. To avoid congestion, the cyclist was simply pulled out the way and traffic carried on as normal and no police involvement. Apparently a common occurrence there.
