2 places available for like minded lunatics to cycle the 2007 Tour de France. I have a van and driver who will act as team coordinator, medic, mechanic, chef etc !
Plan is to complete each stage on the day the pros do it, starting each stage very early ( perhaps during the night ) and to complete before the roads are closed.
We will be camping / living in the van. It will be a very basic, cheap & chearful trip with each cyclist sharing the cost of diesel, food etc on an equal basis.
I am an enthusiastic though inexperienced cyclist. I currently cycle 60-80km per day to and from work. I rock climb indoors 4 times a week so I am fit & strong however this is an altogether different challenge !!
Idealy I would like companions who are up for the whole 3 weeks however depending on the response and given the short notice I will consider shorter time periods. If your interested please get in touch !
