The 'bounce'

I can't remember where the topic was but seem to remember that it was a lady complaining about her bike 'bouncing' or 'shaking'. Did we ever solve it? I think I replicated the same problem as she had. This morning, on a nice straight road, decent speed/cadence and nice weather, the bike started shaking - not uncontrollably but noticeable. Easing off slightly, it stopped, getting back up to the speed and cadence that I felt it, it came back. Above that speed, the pedals were spinning freely. Could I have been at the speed where not all the pawls in the freehub were engaging but not fast enough so that all pawls disengaged? So we had engaged, disengaged, engaged, disengaged and so on. The frequency of the 'shake' would depend on cadence and would be transferred through either the bottom bracket and/or the rear wheel. I'm probably wrong!

No, the lady in question just wanted to announce that she had a fantastically pneumatic posterior, I, and some others made helpful/fatuous remarks in hope of a video of her on her way to France. To the best of my knowledge I remain unfulfilled.
