Spindle and crank problems...
I have recently bought the following compact chainset and bottom bracket. http://www.pearsoncycles.co.uk/index.ht ... 0&brandID=
Sorry for the long address!
The bracket goes in fine but the crank on the left non-drive side does not fit very close to the frame. I can see about 1 cm of the spindle showing between the frame and the crank.
Is this supposed to be like this?
It seems that the two pedals are passing the rear tube of the frame at pretty much the same distance give or take 1mm. I cant help but think that having the pedals an equal distance away from the frame is a good thing but the gap does look weird.
The crank fastens on fine. Not worried about it falling off.
Any suggestions will be gratefully recieved.

I have just found some longer crank bolts that have also been included with the usual bolts. Sois secure at least!0
