Wheel and Cassette Compatbility
Had a prang on my SCR3 last weekend. Rear Wheel all out out line, lbs had a go of truing it today but it cant be fixed as it has a bump in it as well.
Looking at buying these wheels for my SCR3
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ProductDetail.a ... 5360025955
or these
http://www.probikekit.com/display.php?code=w1017
Stupid question time, will my 26mm tyres be ok to move over
Also can I use my SRAM cassette on the Shimano compatible versions or will i need a Shimano Cassette as well.
When they come do i have to fit the rim tape or is it done.
Told ya , Stupid questions, but does anyone out there know the answers

The Mavic tech spec pages are pretty comprehensive: they list max tyre pressures by size and the Aksiums include up to x32 tyres so x26s no problem (all via mavic.com!)
Not looked for 105 specs (you can), but I can't imagine that 26s a problem (there is a ratio rim width:tyre size which governs these things, but it is on the conservative side and I can't remember it anyway!).
I believe Sram same hub spline pattern as Shimano.
