Base layer suggestion?

Hi guys,

Can anyone suggest me a base layer, thats under œ20 (cheaper the better[:D]) and is ideally white, or another lighter colour although this isn't essential??

It will be for summer use, racing and hard training, and would prefer sleeveless if possible although as its for summer its at least got to be short sleeved.

Vangard 906 Singlet (vest-type) is very nice. White, light and does a very good job of dispacing sweat and any moisture. Obviously if it gets too hot there is no need for a base layer but the Vangard in the summer I love. Have about 4 of them and they are about œ12-15 I think. Plus they're easy to wash.

I've had a couple of these from Prendas for about 4 years now. They work really well and have lasted well too.

However, for all round performance the Rapha merino wool undervest I have is a quantum leap better. œ45 though.

Thanks for help.

I went with Marks suggestion on the nike dri fit and the after some shopping around found them on je james for œ10 with free post so i shall see how that goes and perhaps buy more.

The retail parks that are awful to walk about, usually have good selection of discounted T's

Nike were selling dri-fit T's for a fiver last time i looked

I am using Nike Pros at the moment, its a kind of silver and white colour short sleved uber tight top...which is also strangely comfortable...JJB were selling them off cheap last time i was in there so i got a few..
