Well, not new really, I rebuilt my recumbent and added a tailbox:

  • Thats cool BM, hope you've got some grey and black skinsuit, utility belt and cape to go with that. What a quality batmobile you could turn that into! Attach flamethrowers, tyrespikes to drop out of the back of your swish tail box. Ooh! And a projector for shining the symbol onto the clouds.

    I haven't shouted OOOOOOO WOW at a computer monitor for ages.

    But I'm disappointed that the chain ring isn't a bit bigger. ;)

    Nice bike.
    Really really nice bike.

    It's a 60t on the front, or 109". Big enough for me, I hope, since I can do almost 40mph downhill on my fixed on 66".

  • I may have got a little overexcited in my first post - what it basically whittles down to is "nice bike"!!!

    Suppose you could say it's "nice", if you like that sort of thing, but is it a "bike"? I'd say 'contraption' is a more appropriate word.

    Can it still tow the trailer, Mike?

    Cheers guys! Yes, I think it would still tow the trailer, only I sold the trailer a few months ago.

    <Yawn>

    It's got two wheels, and is human powered. That makes it a bike.

    Very smart Mikey...

    If I had a baby elephant, it could help me clean the car. If I had a car.

    If I build a contraption thats got two wheels, and "powered" by humans (i.e. combustion), does that make it a bike aswell? [:D][:)]

    Have a look at some of Mikey's commuting videos. He rides bikes, he rides them at speed and with skill, and he does it in London traffic.
    He also skates the London to Brighton. The trailer I asked about he used to use to carry his littl'un.

    It's a bike.
