there's some evil b******s around for sure. Here's hoping Flic makes a full recovery. One can be as careful as one likes but you can't allow for something like this happening.

Very sad, lets hope she's soon posting again on her fascinating inspiring blog.
"Stopping a girl for directions she marvelled that I had ridden (sort of!) all the way from Kabale... "but were't you affraid?" she demanded... "of what?" I asked, "I didn't know I was meant to be affraid..."... "of the animals" she replied, and, gesturing low she searched for the correct word before exclaiming "... and the pigmys!"..."

Very, very sad and I hope she makes a full recovery. But it seems like the bike has infact been recovered. Little consilation when you're lying in hospital with a broken head I know.......
More problems but still living.....More problems but still living....0 -
My wife an I hope she makes a full recovery.
All the best wishes.

Just read that in her blog too. The brits in Burundi have Edward ( Flic's bike), and it's worth sending it over to her.
I'm hoping for Flic to have a great recovery too.
