Kudos to the fella on the black Trek roadie who stopped next to me this morning at the lights by the Imperial War museum and said "that's a lovely bike." I was on my pride and joy (the Wilier) today in preparation for a post-work ride and that comment made my day.

Right the complete bike originally cost: œ1700 (including Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels)
But I have added the following:
Fulcrum Racing 0's: œ600
Toupe saddle: œ70
Speedplay Zero CSC edition pedals: œ120
Continental GP4000S' (fitted today): œ44
2x ProRace bidon cages: œ40
[:I] So œ2574. Quite a scary amount of money when you think about it, still worth every penny though.

Nah black tires now; the GP4000S' only come in black. Not sure which I prefer yet, but we'll see what the new tires are like, I'm looking for every possible advantage in a vain effort to get my Richmond Park 3 lap time down!
Oh and it's my parents garden (more's the pity) - took the pics when I last visited sunny Sussex.

The rims are Velocity Deep V's ordered from the States (available in a large range of colours with or without machined rims), I then got Sigma to build them up on 105 hubs. The deep V's are known to be strong rims, so with 32 spokes front and back they're pretty much indestructible and reasonably light - ideal for commuting.
