Cycling map of your local area

Apologies if this is teaching granny to suck eggs, but i thought i'd share a 'find' of mine.
I was searching on my local council website for anything to do with cycling (just browsing really) when i came across the fact that the local council (Rotherham) produce an ordance survey type map which shows the local borough and anything cycling related. Now Rotherham isn't the most cycle friendly place in the world but the map does show roads with cycle lanes, secure cycle parking in town and, in particular, road which are particularly 'cycle friendly' because of the lack of motor traffic.
I've used the map to go on a few rides and it's opened up new route to me that i wouldn't have considered (even looking at an OS map).
I know for a fact that (some) other councils produce these maps because i've obtained one from Doncaster council as well
The best thing about them is they are completely free. i just emailed the councils and they posted them out to me.

Birmingham City Council does one of the best walking and cycling maps that I've seen. For free.
They're currently having to do a third print run because they're so popular.

SUstrans does the same level, but on a national basis

I think you'll find many councils offer free cycle maps. I've had lots of freebies from Glasgow, Falkirk and South Lanarkshire as well as South, East and North Ayrshire. Councils often give free maps with sections of Sustrans routes - for example the Ayrshire Costal Cyclepath is a section of NCN 7.
