Hi all...
I have just got myself a Daws Galaxy for touring. It's been great so far and I am up to about 50-60Km on my morning 'training' rides. The only problem so far is that my feet seem to 'fall off' the edges of the pedals a little. I have some toe straps on the pedals but I keep them very loose so I can get my size 13's into them ok...maybe those size 13's are the problem? Is there such a thing as a wider lightweight pedal suited for a touring bike...I suppose the must be, only thing is which ones? Does anybody have any experience of this type of thing, which types are best etc...sounds minor but it's starting to bug me.
I posted this here because I am a beginner...but if a mod wants to move this to the touring section please do.
Thankyou[:)].

well to be honest I thought a bike of this quality would have decent pedals...I suppose they are really, it's just my big feet. These arn't the type you clip to the bottom of a shoe, these just have toe straps on them. I have a mountain bike as well with wider pedals and toe straps, so i am thinking i should be able to get some easily, but I have no idea which ones are best, which would fit etc..I think I will call Daws or the dealer I bought it from as well.. I just wondered if anybody had the same issue and might have overcome it.Gravity sucks0
