It's the perfect leadout for Petacchi and he wins by a huge margin, around six or seven bike lengths. That's his fifth stage win of this year's race while Danilo Di Luca finishes safely in the peloton to complet overall victory in the Giro d'Italia!!!!

    Good effort for Petacchi and this years race was excellent and IMO most people who deserved stage wins got them. Plus the overall for Di Luca was more than well deserved - he dug deep when it counted and gave the climbers a fright when the going got steep.

    It was indeed a very good Giro and IMO is getting close to the TdF in every respect. Di Luca proved to be the man of the tour and deserves his win!!!!!!!!!!!
