Cleaning your bicycle?

How often do you wash your bike?

After everytime you go out on it or just when it needs it, ie when it starts to look slightly muddy?

    I have a routine - after the Sunday club run, my bike gets a thorough cleaning. It lasts about an hour. Occasionally, I will give it a mid week clean if the weather has been poor or I think the chain needs some attention.

    i was getting really worried about the bottom bracket on my fuji, it was making all sorts of noises. i cleaned the beast, now is silent and smooth as you like.
