I'm just about to sell one of my bikes, and the purchaser wants me to post it. Any ideas about a suitable courier, packaging, and cost?

  • I've always used parcelforce with good results. 48 hour service for about œ20. bike needs to be packed in a box so that it could be stacked with other cargo, so no pertruding pedals etc

Speak to the LBS, and get a suitable box from them.

I sent one back for repair recently and actually found the Ebay Guide useful.

Another option is from the Canadian magazine Momentum

Most couriers and or ParcelForce will take it, but beware of sizing as some have weird ways of assessing the size!

    Best of luck
