Tyre 'nicks'.
I've had a pair of Michelin Pro's for around 6 months. They have a few small nicks in them (only about 2-3 on each, no more than 1-2mm each). None of them have anything embedded in them, they're not in the side wall and I check them regularly. How far can you go on the tyre fornt with nicks? I knew soemone who'd replace his tyre as soon as a few appeared, but this seems a little OTT.
Cheers.

I now superglue any nicks I get after reading on here that others did it, definately works ok and Ive found loctite do a large bottle of superglue in black so you dont get the white drying effect that normal superglue gives0

i got some really cheap Conti road tyres that are covered in little nicks and they've only done 300 miles
i won't be binning them just yet. i just pick any bits of crud out of them and carry on riding

I'd second superglue, I've just stuck my tyres back together after some unplasant encounters with a few flints in the lanes of hampshire...
