OMG! Campag 'n'Carbon

Well, I picked up the Wilier This morning, changed my cleats, and went out for a short spin.
I have to say that I thought my Spesh allez was fast and responsive, but this Wilier is absolutely brilliant, the Centaur gears shifted like silk and the frame soaked up the usual road vibrations (no numb hands).
Even the sceptical Mrs F is impressed, and she has only looked at it!
Have taken some snaps, and will post asap.
One thing that bothers me a bit,[:I] my frame has Blue highlights, as opposed to the Red shown on ALL the websites I have visited (including Wilier's own site) The guy at AW Cycles said that they changed the colour scheme for the Centaur groupset equipped model, Oh and my R7's are black (yeuuck!!)[:(].
Apart from that It's just about perfect[8D][8D][:D][:D][8D][8D][:D][:D]

Ha ha ha ! I don't wear a floppy sleeved shirt and talk with a mouthful of plums!
I just like to have something to worry about! But those wheels will have to go eventually, but it's going to be a VERY stealthy operation, as I did promise Mrs F that this bike would be upgrade proof! Those wheels just look so cheap, IMO any wheel in black looks inferior to silver, Oh well as a matter of interest what would any of you put on as a replacement wheel set? No silly suggestions, budget no more than œ250 and preferably Mavic, but not necessarily, just as long as they are silver![8D]

Morning! Yes, a very nice man from Slough ( no not David Brent) came and took my Spesh away :0( but he is looking after her ;0) and I'm very happy now to be the proud owner of a lovely Carbon framed Campag equipped rocket! just don't like those 'orrible black wheels, not really concerned about the blue paint scheme, as I like Blue, but was just puzzled as to why it is Blue and not Red as all the others are that I have seen.
Maybe it's an advertising ploy, as everyone knows that Red coloured things go fast![8D] so perhaps they just show the Red version, the Chorus equipped version, which I saw when I went to collect mine was predominently White with little bits of blue, Red and yellow over the carbon weave.

You can get the bike in either red, blue or yellow in either of the groupsets. Looks as though the shop may have only had the blue in your size maybe!0

They should at least have changed the rim decals (which appear to be RED!) to match the blue highlights, shouldn't they? I'd take it back!
Other than that, very nice!

Ha ha ha LOL nice try davej! not going to bite though! Well if that's the case, I'm glad they didn't only have a yellow one then Bluuerrrgh[:(].
There was (apparently) only one in a large at the warehouse, but she does look nice apart from those awful black wheels LOL!
