I might not be commuting next week as my wife could go into labour at any time (although this would be a wee bit early). [:0] When that happens I will be having a 3 week holiday...... ok maybe not a holiday[:0][:)]

Mag, I work in westminster and I biked in all the time even when she was overdue. I live in Essex, 15 mile commute.

The tube takes 70 minutes and is not reliable, my bike takes 50 minutes + washinf time. Even if I had a pucture I knew it would take 5 minutes to fix. ( I carry spare tubes)

I will still be commuting right up until she pops! The 3 weeks off is for when the baby is here! I might use the car to take her to hospital though... [:D]

I've just had a picture of my wife in labour sitting on the hamax child seat on the back of the bike enter my head....[:p][:D][:0]

It's Friday and I've just been awarded a grant give me some slack....[:D]

Of course I don't expect to come across any buses in the maternity ward, but you never know!

Number two is due on the 18th so it might be a wee while yet. However, if I suddenly disapear for a day or two (or four) that's why!!

You might not find any buses, but you'll be able to drive one up sideways afterwards.
