MTB vs Road Bike sizing
MTB frame sizes always seem to be measured in inches, road bikes in cm (no idea why).
Is there any correlation between the two? Say I have a 60cm road frame, what would this equate to for an mtb?
A straight conversion - 60cm is about 23 inches, which seems on the very large side.
Cheers,
Graham.

Depending on the type of MTB, you'd need a pretty large one.
MTB tend to be measured based on the effective TT length (ETT), and for a six-footer you'd need at least 23 inches. Remember the stem length is much shorter than on mtb bikes.
I'm 5'10" and I run a 23.5" ETT with 9cm stem.
Have a look at the On One Inbred bikes as they run nice long TTs.
