new wheel - rubbish!

I bought a new front wheel for my winter bike. I haven't used it for many miles, but it started making very dodgy noises, and the spokes now seem very loose.

How do I mend this problem on my own without putting it in the LBS (it's only a cheap shimano front wheel so labour costs wouldn't be worth it).

Thanks.

Regardless how cheap it was, it should last a reasonable distance. If it hasn't then the shop should repair/replace under warranty I'd have thought.
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

If you want to have a go yourself, the Park guide has all you need to know.

If it just needs truing it shouldn't cost that much, my LBS charges œ5.
