Rear wheel swapping - cassette alignment

Here's the problem....
I have a few bikes and a few wheelsets and I tend to swap and change them about depending on the weather and the type of riding I am doing.
This I have done for a while without any problem until I got some new Eastons.
Swapping a mavic wheel for another mavic wheel is fine, but if I swap a mavic for an Easton (or Vice versa), the rear mech needs adjustment to stop the 'clicking' noise and to get the gears changing properly.
Any tips on how to overcome this?
I suspect it's an alignment problem where the cassette on one wheel is seated at a different offset to the cassette on the other wheel. Is there a 'spacer' that I can get to rectify this?

there are spacers available but your LBS is probably your best bet. Some are quite thick to allow you to run a 7spd cassette on a 8/9 spd freehub. You want a few thin ones to get the spacing spot on.

My Tune hub comes with one but I don't know if you can buy them on their own.
